Rajesh Ambigapathy joined Pasan SA, a member of the Meyer Burger Technology group, in 2010 as Head of Sales and Service and is currently its Managing Director. Pasan is the world reference for measurement equipment in the photovoltaic cell and module manufacturing business. Prior to joining Pasan SA, Rajesh worked in several companies in the IT and RFID industries, and occupied different roles in sales/marketing as well as in operations. Born in Madras, India, Rajesh is trained as a physicist and obtained a PhD in optoelectronics from the Swiss Institute of Technology in Lausanne. He is married and the happy father of three wonderful children.

Dr. Puzant Baliozian is the VDMA PV Equipment Group's project manager since September of this year. He is involved in techno-economic studies for manufacturing capacity of PV along the value chain and represents the interests of European PV equipment manufacturers internationally. The PV Sector Group at VDMA also publishes the yearly international technology roadmap for photovoltaics (ITRPV) showing highly relevant technology projections and trends. Dr. Baliozian studied physics at the American University of Beirut (BSc., 2014) and has a specialization in renewable energy (MSc. 2016) from the university of Freiburg. From 2016 until recently, he worked at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) in Freiburg in the field of photovoltaic production technologies where he also did his PhD. He is best known for developing the passivated edge technology for separated industrial solar cell concepts, to boost cell and module efficiencies.

Saptak Ghosh is a Senior Policy Specialist at CSTEP and is leading the domain of RE & EE. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (R.V. College of Engineering, Bengaluru 2006) and a master's of science (MSc) degree in Sustainable Energy Technology (Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, 2011). His areas of expertise include technology and policy analyses of rooftop solar, ground-mounted solar and wind, waste management infrastructures, innovative system designs in energy and industry, energy Policy and energy efficiency in industries. His professional experience of nearly a decade in the renewables sector allows him to bring deep knowledge and expert insights to any table. He has conceptualized, led and implemented the first-of-its kind innovative aerial Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) based rooftop solar potential assessment for each building in Bengaluru. He is closely involved with the Energy Departments and DISCOMs of Karnataka and Bihar in shaping rooftop implementation strategy to achieve respective state targets. He has also contributed in the development of CSTEP's RE Atlas which allows any state in India to use a GIS visualization platform and choose suitable sites for ground-mounted solar and wind projects based on a multi-criteria analysis framework. Presently, he is working on using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to carry out rooftop potential assessment studies in several cities in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.

R Harikumar, Director of Energy Management Centre (EMC), Government of Kerala is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering; Post Graduate in Energy Conservation and holds a Ph.D in Energy Management. EMC is the State Designated Agency (SDA of BEE, Govt of India) in Kerala for implementation of the provisions of the Energy Conservation Act 2001, which includes inter alia, Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC), Perform-Achieve-Trade (PAT) scheme for energy intensive industries, Municipal & Agricultural DSM, Standards & Labelling for selected equipment, etc. He was on deputation from EMC to Agency of Non-conventional Energy & Rural Technology (ANERT) as its Director from September 2016 till December 2018. ANERT is the Kerala State Nodal Agency (SNA of MNRE, Govt of India) for promoting renewable energy. He was instrumental in launching the "Soura" - joint program of KSEBL & ANERT, targeting 1000 MW of solar by 2022. Got more than 28 years of experience in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Trained at National Productivity Council during 1992, he worked for a national energy consultancy organization in North India. Harikumar had a brief stint in a chemical processing industry and then worked for more than 2 years in the first Energy Services Company (ESCO) in Asia, at Bangalore, before joining EMC in 1997. From Sept 2006-Sept 2009, he was on deputation to ANERT as its Project Director, leading its district operations. A Certified Energy Auditor of Bureau of Energy Efficiency, he is the Honorary Founder General Secretary of the Society of Energy Engineers and Managers (SEEM), the professional body of Certified Energy Managers and Auditors in the country, established in 2005. Harikumar has travelled widely within the country for energy efficiency capacity-building programs as a faculty member of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Dilip Kumar started his career as an automation engineer, due to his keen interest in developing new products. He joined Rockwell Automation Inc., global leader in Industrial Automation as Application Engineer. During his tenure, he received multiple awards for his technical & sales leadership. Between 2012 - 2016, he spearheaded SMA India's South Region. He won an EMRS (European Material Research Society) young scientist award in 2003 and IIT Bombay Young Investigator Award in 2009. He has also been awarded at several international conferences for research papers. He has authored several books in the area of renewable energy. He has worked on several sponsored projects by government as well as companies and given short term courses on solar PV technologies for companies like Applied Materials, Mahagenco, TataBP Solar and BEL. Dr. Solanki acted as principal consultant for TUV Sud for 125 MW PV power plant of Mahagenco, which is currently India's largest PV power plant. He has also provided consultancy on solar PV to several organizations. Dr. Solanki is member of green committee of IIT Bombay and initiated to a project to install 1 MW of solar PV plant at IIT Bombay. He is in the five member national committee on Special Incentive Package Scheme (SIPS) of DIT, Govt. of India for technical evaluation of solar PV projects. Dr. Solanki is member of Review Committee of Technology and Products for Solar Energy Utilization through Networking (TAPSUN), a project of CSIR labs where more than 150 scientist are involved. In order to ensure that solar light is reaching to each and every students a project names 1 Million Solar Urja Lamp (SOUL) has been initiated where Dr. Solanki is PI of project. Dr. Solanki has recently incubated a solar company names kWatt Solutions Pvt at IIT Bombay incubation center, Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The company focuses on economizing renewable to make it affordable. At social front as well Dr. Solanki has taken several initiatives. Aditya, a dedicated ecopreneur, first encountered solar energy innovation in 1997 when he visited Tilonia village, Rajasthan, which is regarded as rural India's first fully solar electrified village. This showed him how powerful and useful this amazing technology could be, and it fixed his mind on doing something disruptive in this industry. Hailing from Jharkhand, he aspires to provide a solution for a greener ecosystem. David Wedepohl, Managing Director International Affairs David Wedepohl is a radio journalist by training who studied and worked on both sides of the Atlantic. He holds a master's degree in Journalism and Public Affairs which he achieved as a Fulbright scholar. His professional experience included working for the German embassy in Washington, DC as a senior press and public diplomacy officer. He first came in touch with the solar industry while working for an American consulting company before taking up his job as director communications and markets at the German Solar Association, also serving as the organization's spokesperson. He now holds the position of managing director international affairs and is responsible for the association's international activities. Among those are projects in North, West and Southern Africa, Latin America, South-East Asia and the US.
