Dr. Puzant Baliozian is the VDMA PV Equipment Group's leader. He is involved in techno-economic studies for manufacturing capacity of PV along the value chain and represents the interests of European PV equipment manufacturers internationally. The PV Sector Group at VDMA also publishes the yearly international technology roadmap for photovoltaics (ITRPV) showing highly relevant technology projections and trends. Dr. Baliozian studied physics at the American University of Beirut (BSc., 2014) and has a specialization in renewable energy (MSc. 2016) from the university of Freiburg. From 2016 until 2022, he worked at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) in Freiburg in the field of photovoltaic production technologies where he also did his PhD. He is best known for developing the passivated edge technology for separated industrial solar cell concepts, to boost cell and module efficiencies. "

Amit has been working in Solar Industry since last 15 years and started his career with a stint in off-grid industrial market with TBP, followed by nine years of leading busines for SCHOTT Solar in India with last four years in south east Asia too. Currently he is working with Enerparc Energy as Head of Business Development and Marketing for India as well as GCC countires. Prior to joining Solar industry, he has worked for nine years in Process control industry with companies like ABB and earlier has completed his Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering folowed by PG Diploma in Marketing Management. Personally he enjoys long distance running and has been participating in many national and International marathons.

Mr. Braeunlich has many years of experience in sales, in leading sales teams and supporting VON ARDENNE's representative network. He is always keen to maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners. Since Summer 2021 he got assigned as Director Sales + Business Development Asia at VON ARDENNE GmbH, Germany. Before of that, he was General Manager at VON ARDENNE Vacuum Equipment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. As General Manager of VON ARDENNE China in Shanghai, he was responsible for the development of the subsidiary from a service and sales branch of the German VON ARDENNE GmbH to a fully functional production site for vacuum glass coaters for the architectural and automotive glazing industries as well as wafer coaters for the high efficiency crystalline photovoltaic industries. Within these three years, several glass coaters and wafer coater systems were produced, delivered on schedule, and passed their final acceptance test at VON ARDENNE's customers in China.

Shravan Kumar Chunduri is a seasoned solar industry expert with over 20 years of experience spanning research, manufacturing, consulting, and media. He began his career in solar research before moving into manufacturing, and later transitioned into industry analysis. At URON, he actively drives strategic planning, advanced system design, performanceoptimisation, and the integration of innovative technologies-helping projects deliver consistent, bankable outcomes.  

Rohit Gadre leads BNEF's solar sector researchfor India. His focus is on analyzing market trends, policies, trade andcompanies' strategies across the value chain. Rohit also covers renewables'financing for India, with in-depth analysis of green bonds, IPOs and majorM&A deals. Rohit previously worked as a consultant withDNV GL Singapore advising regulators, government agencies, utilities,developers and credit ratings agencies on regional electricity markets, energypolicies and energy efficiency standards. Rohit holds an MSc in the Economics and Policyof Energy and the Environment from University College London and B.E. inEnvironmental Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.  

Sishir Garemella is head of international business development atKiwa PVEL, the leading independent lab of the downstream solar market. Sishirleads Kiwa PVEL's international expansion in strategic markets. He has over 15years of experience, primarily in the downstream, both as a financier and as anoperator. Lejo Joseph Koduvelikulathu, Head of Department R&D Solar Cells holds a M.S in Electronics and Nano-Micro systems. He is working with ISC Konstanz since 2010. His research encompasses device simulation and metallisation losses in solar cells. He is an expert for cell process integration, and has been actively involved and part of ISC's technology transfers and production cell ramp-up support to projects in India ( nPERT, PERC, TOPCOn) and China ( IBC-ZEBRA). He is currently leading the R&D Solar cell department.

Dr. Balachander Krishnan holds a Ph.D. from semiconductor devices and has over two decades ofexperience in technology, manufacturing, and R&D from Europe. As the ChiefOperating Officer(Ingot-Wafer-Cell-Module) of INDOSOL Solar, he oversees allfacets of technology and operations, including the production processes foringots, wafers, cells, and modules. His strategic leadership and technicalinsight are crucial in advancing INDOSOL's commitment to innovative solarsolutions, positioning the company as a leader in the Indian solar industry.  

Rajesh Kulkarni is an Electrical Engineering professional with 26 years of Sales, Marketing & business development experience in the Indian and Asia Pacific regions. He currently manages Uron's EPC business as Director of Sales & is responsible for Techno commercial strategic business development activities in India and the Asia Pacific regions. Before Uron Energy, he worked at Hensel (German MNC) for 19 years, where he was instrumental in their growth and business development activities in India, part of South East Asia, the Middle East & South Africa. He has been involved in setting up businesses in Sri Lanka, UAE, Malaysia, and South Africa and actively supported for business development activities in Southeast Asian countries. Mr.Rajesh is also a member of the Bureau of Indian Standards ETD28 committee specific to IEC solar standards. He was a chairperson for as the Content & Curriculum Development Committee for National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) Green Jobs under NSDC. He has also been a regional manager for ASA (Architectural Solar Association) responsible for developing BiPV projects. He was also recognized & awarded the ' EQ Young Guns Award ' in 2019. As a business head solely responsible for Photovoltaics for the C& I Solar Rooftop segment, he is well conversant with IEC standards and his expertise includes safety requirements.

Sagar Mitra is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. Prior to joining IIT Bombay in 2009, he served as the Principal Electrochemist at Replisaurus Technologies in Stockholm, Sweden from 2006 to 2009. At present, Professor Mitra not only serves as a faculty member at IIT Bombay but also leads his own IITB start-up company, Voltrez Technologies. The company is dedicated to the manufacturing of patented dendrite-free technology for safe liquid electrolyte-based lithium-ion batteries, addressing critical safety concerns associated with battery technology. Beyond his academic and entrepreneurial endeavours, Professor Mitra holds significant roles in various national committees and advisory boards. He actively contributes to NitiAayog as part of the lithium circular economy subcommittee, assisting in the formulation of policies for lithium recycling. Additionally, he collaborates with the Government of India's PSA (Principal Scientific Adviser) office on the Battery Storage Roadmap for India. Recognized for his expertise, Professor Mitra served on the technical advisory boards of esteemed institutions such as the Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) in Karaikudi, ARCI-Hyderabad, and RCI-DRDO Lab in Hyderabad. Furthermore, he serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Epsilon Carbon and Advanced Materials Industry in India and is a Technical Advisory Committee member for Thermax in Pune. Professor Mitra's current research interests revolve around the development of advanced materials and technologies for various energy storage applications, with a particular focus on lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and metal sulfur batteries. His contributions to the field are underscored by his impressive publication record, boasting more than 130 peer-reviewed articles, as well as the filing of 30 patents in the area of different metal-ion batteries. Professor Mitra's research group is deeply engaged in exploring the performance, understanding, and cell prototyping of lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and metal sulfur batteries.

Bhagyasree is an Energy Advisor at GIZ India, where she leads and contributes to variousinitiatives in the areas of energy storage and e-mobility. Holding a master'sdegree in Power Systems Engineering, her work focuses on policy and regulatoryframeworks, technical research on battery energy storage systems, EV charginginfrastructure, and the integration of circular economy principles in energyand renewable sectors. She has played a key role in collaborative projects withmajor national ministries such as the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy(MNRE), NITI Aayog, and other government stakeholders, supporting both policydevelopment and implementation on the ground. Prior to joining GIZ, she workedas a lecturer and remains committed to knowledge sharing, capacity building,and continuous learning to support India's clean energy transition.  

Dr. Deepa Oberoi is a Research Fellow at the University of Leicester (UK), leading sustainable materials recovery research within the APOLLO Project, the UK and EU's largest initiative on photovoltaic (PV) panel recycling. She was among only three fellows from Southeast Asia awarded the prestigious British Council STEM Fellowship at Imperial College London, where she advanced research linking green chemistry, electrochemical engineering, and circular economy systems. A university topper and CSIR Fellowship awardee, she earned her PhD in Synthetic Materials Chemistry from IIT Roorkee, focusing on hybrid materials for smart, sustainable applications. Her current work explores Deep Eutectic Solvents (DESs) and ultrasound-assisted electrochemical recycling, translating lab innovations into scalable green technologies for a circular solar economy.  

P. Vinay Kumar, CEO of Vibrant Energy, backed by the Macquarie Group, is a Renewable Energy industry veteran with a track record of having built and managed ~ 3000 MW of Solar and Wind Assets. o As a Former CEO & MD of Brookfield Asset Management - India Renewables he was instrumental in launching Brookfield in the Renewables sector in India. He has also been an Independent Director on the Board of KKR-backed Virescent India which is one of India's first white-label RE InVITs. o Prior to Brookfield, he worked as COO of Greenko Group leading the Project Development Group. He built 3 GW of solar and wind plants including the world's largest solar plant (817 MW DC) in Kurnool (India) while at Greenko. Also part of the core team that dilgienced multiple acquisitions - including that of SunEdison's assets in India. o During prior stints with EPC companies in Transmission and Distribution, he executed largeformat transmission and distribution projects in India/Africa. Has experience across the Power Value chain (Generation, Transmission and Distribution). o Began his career with the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) where he spearheaded transformational IT initiatives for Indian Customs, like the Risk Management Systems (RMS) which won him the PM's award for excellence in Public Administration. Manan Pathak is an accomplished professional in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Smart Grid and Electric Vehicle (EV) Technologies. With extensive expertise in EV Safety, Smart Grid Integration and advanced simulation, he has published over six journal papers and presented 18+ papers at national and international conferences. He has also contributed to intellectual property development with five design patents. Holding a Master's in Electrical Power Systems and multiple postgraduate diplomas, he is currently pursuing Ph.D. research on renewable energy's impact on hybrid transmission line optimization. His work has been recognized with awards for best research papers and contributions to energy-efficient infrastructure.
