Jason Eom is CEO of ETI E&C Korea, which developed and produces the world's first eco-friendly, top-notch floating bodies for floating Photovoltaics.
He is interested in the development of floaters, which is very important in floating photovoltaics (FPV), and is proposing FPV as an important axis of India's Solar Project Development. The ECOFLOAT developed by his company is a new buoyancy paradigm that overcomes the shortcomings of the existing HDPE floaters to realize durability, weather resistance, structural stability, and use eco-friendly materials to achieve a generational change of floating bodies.
After starting his career as an engineer at Samsung, he worked as a plant manager at the Dow Chemical and GE, and as CEO at CS Wind, a renewable energy company etc.
With decades of professional experience in technology and commerce, exceptional experience in cross-border sales and operations, and the ability to manage organization from diverse cultures and different countries, he is a proven leader. In particular, he has worked on factory automation projects at Modern Coach Factory in INDIA over the years.
He majored in chemical engineering at Hanyang University in South Korea, obtained MBA at Korea University, and studied international business at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He also holds Master Black Belt (MBB) certificate for Lean Six Sigma awarded by GE Corporation.
