Mr Ivan Saha holds a bachelor's degree in Ceramic technology, from the University of Calcutta, and a master's degree in Materials Science, from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
He has over 29 years of experience in solar business and technology deployment. Before joining Vikram Solar as CEO, he was the CTO of ReNew Power where he set up their manufacturing vertical. He has previously been the CTO at Vikram, Head Technology at Moser Baer and Scientist F at The Indian Space Research Organisation.
Mr. Saha is a six sigma black belt holder, has published more than 65 research papers and has 6 patents on PV technology. Ivan is the Chairman of FICCI manufacturing Task Force, as well as the co-chair of ITRPV, member of the Advisory Board of World Solar Congress and involved with several others national and international organisations on photovoltaics.
