Received the B.E. degree in Electrical engineering from the ACCET, Karikudi, India, and the M.Tech. in Power Electronics from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, India.
Possessing 19 years of industrial experience in companies like Alstom, ABB and Schneider Electric.
Started career (Scientific Metal Engineers Pvt Ltd) in cathodic protection of underground pipelines and worked in IOCL and GAIL projects. Later, worked in control and automation domain (Megatech Control Limited), have successfully completed Singapore Airport terminal III baggage handling system, Dubai airport inflight catering system, Vertical car parking system, Sand plant automation for Foundries, Sequential shutdown logic system for Kuwait Oil company. After spending 4 years in control and automation domain, switched over to power generation (Alstom). In power generation, worked in design, development and commissioning of static excitation equipment for gas turbine powered generating stations. Notably the projects like 600MW, Liverno Feraris, Italy, 430 MW, Touss, Iran are significant achievements.
Then switched career to Research and Development. Worked in ABB and successfully launched 5 products. 1. Generator Circuit Breaker monitoring system using IED, 2. Power Transformer Electronic Controllers, 3. Gas Insulated Switch gear monitoring system, 4. Standalone Merging unit for IEC 61850 9-2 protocol, 5. Process bus testing tool for substation automation system.
Thereafter joined Schneider Electric, Bangalore in renewable energy division. Leading a team of engineers to deliver ground up design of solar photovoltaic grid tie inverter for commercial and decentralized power plant architecture. Presently working on developing next generation of string inverters with latest cutting-edge technology and cloud based IOT solutions for solar plant monitoring and control.
