With over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, working across various functions including Business Development, Project Management, and Regulatory Affairs.Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with leading companies in therenewable energy industry, such as HDFC Bank, Kenersys (now Senvion), Gensol, and Suzlon, Hinduja Renewables where I have driven strategic growth in areas like Wind, Solar, Hybrid Systems, Electric Vehicles, and Battery Energy Storage. My experience spans a broad spectrum, from managing large-scale projects to advising on regulatory matters and policy advocacy. In addition,I've worked closely with C-suite executives in the CEO Office, providing insights and support to achieve organizational objectives. I am particularly proud to have been recognized as one of the "Top 40 Under 40" leaders in the renewable energy space, an honor that reflects my commitment to excellence and my leadership in advancing projects that align with both business and environmental goals. Additionally, I was awarded the "Women Leadership Excellence Award in Renewable Energy for BD, Policy, and Regulatory" by a renowned Indian media house, further validating my impactand contributions to the sector.      

P. Vinay Kumar, CEO of Vibrant Energy, backed by the Macquarie Group, is a Renewable Energy industry veteran with a track record of having built and managed ~ 3000 MW of Solar and Wind Assets. o As a Former CEO & MD of Brookfield Asset Management - India Renewables he was instrumental in launching Brookfield in the Renewables sector in India. He has also been an Independent Director on the Board of KKR-backed Virescent India which is one of India's first white-label RE InVITs. o Prior to Brookfield, he worked as COO of Greenko Group leading the Project Development Group. He built 3 GW of solar and wind plants including the world's largest solar plant (817 MW DC) in Kurnool (India) while at Greenko. Also part of the core team that dilgienced multiple acquisitions - including that of SunEdison's assets in India. o During prior stints with EPC companies in Transmission and Distribution, he executed largeformat transmission and distribution projects in India/Africa. Has experience across the Power Value chain (Generation, Transmission and Distribution). o Began his career with the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) where he spearheaded transformational IT initiatives for Indian Customs, like the Risk Management Systems (RMS) which won him the PM's award for excellence in Public Administration. He is also a recipient of the Finance Minister's Medal for best Officer and was also awarded the Samman Patra recognition. o Adjudged Solar Person of the year 2017 - by EQMag, among Solar heroes of 2018, and more recently among 100 most powerful solar leaders in 2021. He is a recognized industry thought leader, influencer in the clean energy industry in India. o Has a Bachelor's degree in Engg. from IIT Madras, PGDBM from XLRI Jamshedpur, and is a CFA.

- Over 30 years of experience in semiconductors, solar and MEMS design, development, mass manufacturing and reliability. Headed the entire Technology function and additionally responsible for setting up of 4GW greenfield Manufacturing business (solar wafer, cell and module) in ReNew Power- Headed manufacturing Business Unit and P&L at Vikram Solar, India's largest Tier1 manufacturer of PV modules- Worked as Head of Technology, in Moserbaer Photovoltaic Ltd. (MBPV), India (www.moserbaersolar.com) as part of the top management team. Responsible for solar cell and module efficiency improvement and cost reduction through continuous innovations, process improvements in production lines (cell and module), technology differentiation and choice, product reliability, certification from external agencies, concentrator photovoltaic module development, PV system level design, new product development, commercialization and minimizing the time to market.- Earlier worked as a Head of Advanced Sensors Development with Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) (www.isro.org) with primary responsibility to lead technology development programs in solar cells, MEMS and semiconductor optoelectronics for the space industry. I led a pan-India ISRO program to indigenize manufacturing of miniaturized semiconductor sensors and actuators including high efficiency silicon solar cells for space applications.

Vinay leads the corporate strategy, investments, government policy and ESG functions at Premier Energies. Prior to this, he has led clean energy advisory and research business at CRISIL, an S&P Global company and co-founded BRIDGE TO INDIA advising project developers, investors, equipment suppliers and policy makers on issues related to business strategy, market environment, policy framework, power procurement and finance.Vinay has spent over 16 years as a project financier covering renewable energy, transport and infrastructure sectors across Europe and Asia. His other job stints include roles at Standard Charted Bank as Senior Director, Project Finance, National Australia Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Bank and ICICI Securities.Vinay holds an MBA degree from London Business School and IIM Ahmedabad in addition to a Mechanical Engineering degree from Delhi Technological University.

Rohit Gadre leads BNEF's solar sector researchfor India. His focus is on analyzing market trends, policies, trade andcompanies' strategies across the value chain. Rohit also covers renewables'financing for India, with in-depth analysis of green bonds, IPOs and majorM&A deals. Rohit previously worked as a consultant withDNV GL Singapore advising regulators, government agencies, utilities,developers and credit ratings agencies on regional electricity markets, energypolicies and energy efficiency standards. Rohit holds an MSc in the Economics and Policyof Energy and the Environment from University College London and B.E. inEnvironmental Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
