In order to manage the increase in the renewable power being injected into the grid, the Government of India introduced the Energy Storage Obligation (ESO) in conjunction with the existing Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO) framework. In this session, experts will analyse how the ESO will not only enable the effective management of grid, but also stimulate the growth of stationary energy storage technologies.
