He has around 10 years of experience in the Renewable Energy space having worked with Amplus Solar prior to his current role. He has special interests in the integration of data and digital technologies into Renewables industry and has worked across Utility scale plants and onsite plants to facilitate the same. He has done his Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Siddharth Shetty covers India's broader power sector, with a primary focus on wind energy and the country's emerging hydrogen landscape. He also works extensively on long-term energy modelling, in addition to conducting research on standalone energy storage auctions and the transmission sector. His work focuses on analyzing market trends, regulatory developments, and corporate strategies to deliver actionable, forward-looking insights. Prior to joining BloombergNEF, Siddharth was an Associate at cKinetics Consulting, a boutique sustainability advisory firm, where he provided strategic research and guidance to clients acrossdiverse industries. Siddharth holds a double Master's degree, an MSc in Energy for Smart Cities from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and Grenoble INP in France.
