Aditya Vikram is the Managing Director and CEO of Renon India Private Limited, a significant energy storage company in India. With more than 12 years of experience, Aditya wants to make a long-term difference in the energy storage business.
Aditya is in charge of Renon India's operations, sales, financing, and day-to-day operations, and he is an expert in solar electrification. He engages directly with clients and customers, determining and meeting their needs.
Aditya, a dedicated ecopreneur, first encountered solar energy innovation in 1997 when he visited Tilonia village, Rajasthan, which is regarded as rural India's first fully solar electrified village. This showed him how powerful and useful this amazing technology could be, and it fixed his mind on doing something disruptive in this industry.
Hailing from Jharkhand, he aspires to provide a solution for a greener ecosystem. After completing his schooling from Mayo College, Ajmer, he earned a mechanical engineering degree from PES University in Bengaluru. He also went to the S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai to get an MBA in Family Managed Business to take his family's iron and steel production business forward.
It was only after he relocated his base to Surat in 2015 that he started conducting extensive research on the solar industry to make a mark in the sector. Along the way, he met like-minded people and decided to join hands with them to take his idea forward. In 2019, he co-founded Renon India.
Aditya is a firm believer in the market for lithium-ion batteries. He sees them as a feasible alternative to fossil fuels. And he believes Renon will be important in bringing about this fundamental change in business.
Aditya seeks to develop a strong, sustainable energy system in India through Renon and strives to contribute significantly to this quest.
